Phase 01

Orientation and set-up

With the project sponsor and senior leadership

We agree scope and logistics, and establish a baseline. Leadership and the prospective project team complete a short structured questionnaire that gives us a starting measure of the organisation’s position on AI. We then select the project team together.

What you get

  • A draft project brief
  • Baseline diagnostic results
  • A written record of each session
Phase 02

Foundations

With the project team

The project team is brought to a common level on the fundamentals of AI, and we design and build a Knowledge Centre the organisation owns. In parallel, an organisation-wide survey maps how employees are actually using AI and how they feel about it.

What you get

  • The Knowledge Centre — glossary, use cases, research digests, a timeline of developments
  • The first workbook
  • Employee survey results
  • Session records
Phase 03

Advanced sessions

With the project team and named executives

Three focused workbooks take key stakeholders through the questions they will be asked to answer: the economics and return on investment of AI with the CFO, data security with the CTO, and agentic systems with a specialist guest.

What you get

  • Workbook: the economics of AI
  • Workbook: data security
  • Workbook: agentic systems
  • Session records
Phase 04

Diagnostics and ideation

With the project team

We map confidence department by department using a simple red-amber-green assessment, map how processes actually run and where the pain sits, and register the data sources, tools and outputs already in use. Ideation sessions then identify candidate pilots and the alternatives to them.

What you get

  • Departmental readiness results
  • A process and pain-point map
  • A data and tools registry
  • A scoping paper for proposed pilots
Phase 05

Directions

Project team, then the whole organisation

We work with the team to draft strategy and policy directions, collate the findings from every phase, and present. First to the senior leadership team, then to the organisation at a town hall.

What you get

  • A draft AI strategy
  • A draft AI policy
  • A presentation to your senior leadership team
  • A company-wide town hall with materials your people keep

A fixed hour, every workshop

Action Learning Sets

Every workshop sets aside a full hour for an Action Learning Set: the team takes one real AI problem the organisation is facing and works it, properly, with a facilitator in the room.

This is deliberate. It is the part of the programme where the learning stops being theoretical, and it is usually where the first genuine opportunities surface.

At the end of it

What you keep

The work your organisation produces during Reconnaisense is yours. That includes your findings, your process maps, your priorities, and the draft strategy, draft policy and roadmap that come out of the programme.

The workbooks and Knowledge Centre resources we supply stay available to you and your colleagues internally after the engagement ends. Where any third-party material carries its own restrictions, we will tell you which and what they mean.

Start with a conversation

Thirty minutes. No cost.

If Reconnaisense isn’t right for you, we will tell you.

The first conversation is there to understand

  • What is already happening with AI in your organisation
  • Which business problem or decision is prompting the question
  • Who would sponsor the work
  • Whether Reconnaisense is the right next step

We use what you send here only to reply to your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass it on.
